Be Your Own Pet fans brace yourself the band are throwing in the towel. According to a MySpace message posted by the group today, the scrappy Tennessee punkers will be breaking up and saying goodbye for good after they wrap up their current UK tour.

We are sad to bring you the news that our upcoming shows in the UK are going to be our last as a band. We thank you for all your love and support these past few years its been a blast but the time has come for the four of us to go our separate ways.
The break-up comes in the wake of several recent troubles for Be Your Own Pet, with the band having to deal with censorship at the hands of their label Universal and exhaustion that forced them to call off their Warped Tour dates.
Perhaps the only good news in this story is at least the kids in the UK have a chance to catch the band before they call it a day. Here are Be Your Own Pets' last tour dates:
