Published Apr 05, 2011Last year, British Columbia's LIVE at Squamish snagged an impressive cast of performers for its inaugural edition. This August, the festival will be returning for a second year, and the organizers have recruited more high-profile bands to headline the event.
The two-day festival will take place on August 20 and 21. The first night will feature Metric, Girl Talk and John Butler Trio. These artists will be joined by Peak Performance Project winner Kyprios and Sweet Thing.
The next night, Weezer will headline, along with Major Lazer and Diplo + Switch. BC rockers the Zolas and Bend Sinister will support. Shad is also listed on LIVE at Squamish's website, although it's not clear which day he will appear on.
UPDATE: Shad will be appearing on August 20.
Early bird tickets are available from Friday (April 8) at 10 a.m. until May 15. Weekend passes will cost $119, while single day tickets are $79. There are also $199 VIP passes, which will gain you access to early admission, separate lines, a reserved parking space and an exclusive beer garden.
