The last we heard from rhythmic rock experimentalists Battles, singer/guitarist Tyondai Braxton had left the group to pursue his solo career full time. Now, the band are going ahead as a trio, and they've unveiled their new LP, Gloss Drop.

The album will come out on June 7 in North America and a day earlier in the UK via Warp. Its 12 tracks include an impressive roster of guests: Gary Numan appears on the track "My Machines," while Blonde Redhead's Kazu Makino performs on a tune called "Sweetie & Shag." Other contributors include Boredoms' Yamantaka Eye and DJ Matias Aguayo.

Gloss Drop is the long-awaited follow-up to 2007's beloved Mirrored, and you can pre-order it over at Bleep. There's currently no official artwork, but you can see the tracklist below.
