Published Apr 03, 2012Last year, garage rock duo Bass Drum of Death hit the road a couple of times in support of their 2011 debut GB City, and the outfit are ready to follow up that effort with a pair of seven-inch singles and even more tour dates.
While release dates have yet to be announced, the band have one two-song seven-inch and a split single with Australia's DZ Deathrays on the way, courtesy of 3|4. Bass Drum of Death's own mini-platter will feature the new numbers "White Fright" and "I Dunno." The split, meanwhile, will host Bass Drum of Death's "I Wanna Be Forgotten" on one side, with DZ Deathrays' "No Sleep" on the flip. You can hear "I Wanna Be Forgotten" at the bottom of the page.
Both bands will promote their shared single on an upcoming North American tour that starts up in June. The jaunt will find them hitting up Canada three times, stopping in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. You can check the schedule below.
As previously reported, DZ Deathrays are also delivering their Bloodstreams LP May 8 through Dine Alone.
