Barenaked Ladies have announced plans for a "very special holiday streaming event." On December 18, the band will present an evening they're calling "A Very Virtual Christmas," which will feature holiday-themed musical performances, comedy sketches and more.
The group will stream the event through Sessions Live at 9 p.m. ET on the night of the 18th and plan to bring "some holiday cheer to you this year" in the face of ongoing gathering limitations we've seen throughout 2020.
Tickets for the show start at $15 USD for general admission and additional merchandise bundles — including ugly sweaters, toques, masks, puzzles, Christmas tree ornaments and more — are available at different rates. Packages are available to purchase here.
Their livestream show follows the band's plans for an expanded 20th anniversary reissue of their 2000 album, Maroon.
