Bare Wires Bring You 'Cheap Perfume'

Bare Wires Bring You 'Cheap Perfume'
Since 2007, ultra-poppy Oakland, CA rockers Bare Wires have offered up a litany of sweet-sounding garage numbers scattered across a series of singles and full-lengths, and they have a whole lot more coming your way care of their upcoming LP, Cheap Perfume.

A press release explains that Cheap Perfume further smoothes out the band's early lo-fi sound while still retaining the outfit's sleazy origins. Though their "ten stadium-ready tracks of glam-infused, rock'n'roll gems" are considerably cleaner, leader Matthew Molton Melton's new tunes find him on top of his game. You can check out the buzzy bubblegum title track here.

The band will be pushing their "smooth punk" aesthetic in support of Cheap Perfume early this fall with on a quick West Coast jaunt. Their two Canadian dates in Vancouver and Victoria find them gigging with '60s soul-indebted BC buzz band Chains of Love and fellow Bay Area garage rockers Thee Oh Sees. Check out the details below.
