Published Sep 13, 2012Typically, Sónar is an annual electronic music festival that's held in Barcelona. This fall, however, it will expand to North America in the form of a tour that will bring some notable electronic acts to a number of cities in the U.S. and Canada.
There are eight dates in all, with shows on both coasts of the continent. In addition to six U.S. shows, the tour will make two stops in Canada: November 1 in Toronto and November 3 in Montreal.
The performers include Die Antwoord, Azari & III, Seth Troxler, Paul Kalkbrenner, Tiga, Gesaffelstein and Nic Fanciulli. Note that Tiga will sit out the final two stops (Oakland and Los Angeles), while Gesaffelstein will only perform at three of the shows (Chicago, Toronto and Denver).
