It's a terrible time for concerts if you're a human being, but if you're a houseplant, things have never been better. While shrubberies and seedlings used to have to listen to their copy of Plantasia for musical sustenance, they've now been treated to a night on the town thanks to a Barcelona opera house.

Earlier this week, Barcelona's Gran Teatre del Liceu reopened its doors with a performance of Giacomo Puccini's Crisantemi. Rather than play for highbrow concertgoers, however, the performance took place for an audience of 2,292 plants.

After the show was done, the highfalutin houseplants were donated to frontline healthcare workers as a token of gratitude.
