Delightful English singer-songwriter Badly Drawn Boy has shared a new song today titled "Is This a Dream?" alongside a flashy new animated video.

The artist born Damon Gough has shared this new song and its accompanying video in support of an unknown forthcoming album.

The Broken Antler-directed visuals see swirling collage-style images featuring cutouts of an "in-peach" Donald Trump, Boris Johnson, a distressed polar bear and a creepy Joker-esque portrait of the artist himself.

Gough explains further:

The song is a sound collage of chaos and confusion to reflect the ridiculous times we live in. A deliberately cartoonesque sonic poke in the eye, to those in whom we place trust, yet instead supply constant barrage of misinformation followed by bad decisions.

So far, no other details about the forthcoming record have surfaced. Stay tuned for information as it unfolds.

Excluding his soundtrack work, Gough's last studio album was 2010's It's What I'm Thinking Pt.1 – Photographing Snowflakes.
