Cutting-edge Canadian music makers BADBADNOTGOOD and Kaytranada teamed up for "Lavender" last year, treating the IV track to one of Exclaim!'s favourite music videos of 2016. Now the Toronto jazz experimenters and the Montreal producer have dropped a whole new clip for a Snoop Dogg-featuring remix of the same song.
The latest video features a blatantly euphemistic world run by clowns — including face-painted cops and a politician by the name Ronald Klump. It was directed by Jesse Wellens, who cites the shooting of Philando Castile as one of the events that inspired the socially conscious clip.
Watch him and Snoop fight back against police brutality, fake news and surveillance in the new clip down below.
