Toronto trio BADBADNOTGOOD are letting us in on some goofy behind-the-scenes activity of their III sessions via a new video for previously premiered single "Can't Leave the Night."
The self-flagellating set of lo-fi visuals finds the band tinkering around in the studio, whether twirling sticks, showing off "old school" analog recording equipment, or demonstrating some seriously in-the-zone bass face. A major twist, however, switches things up with an even more sarcastic set of shots making a mockery of material desires and standard music video practices. The instrumental track, meanwhile, runs smooth and funky throughout.
You can catch the script-flipping clip down below.
As previously reported, III drops May 6 through Innovative Leisure in the U.S. and Pirates Blend in Canada.
