Earlier this year, Vivian Girls' Cassie Ramone and Woods' Kevin Morby delivered their full-length debut as the Babies, and if you couldn't get enough of that record, you'll be glad to know that the duo will be delivering a new 12" January 10 through Real Estate/Ducktails dude Matthew Monadile's New Images imprint.
Monadile tweeted new track "Trouble" earlier today, and you can check it out below. The acoustic lo-fi number rolls out hazily like a lost Velvet Underground cut, with tremolo-inflected strums and trade-off vocals imbuing the cut before Morby takes over with a decidedly Lou Reed-style refrain of "Here she comes now, now." A tracklisting has yet been unveiled for the upcoming 12-inch.
