Published Oct 25, 2012With a February 12 release date set for her long-awaited Universal debut Broke With Expensive Taste, hotly tipped rapper Azealia Banks has announced some recent collaborations with some big names.
In an interview with Brazil's Mix TV [via MTV News], Banks confirmed that she's hit the studio with both Kanye West and Lady Gaga.
"I worked with Lady Gaga, but I worked with Lady Gaga from afar. We worked via email and via Internet," she said. "We have a song called 'Red Flame' and a song called 'Ratchet,' but I don't know what she's doing with it. She's going to release it when she wants to release it."
It's not yet confirmed where those Lady Gaga tracks will appear, but Banks has enough on her plate regardless. She's also just finished recording some tracks with Kanye.
"Working with Kanye was a lot of fun. I just kind of went out to Hawaii for vacation, and he has a studio out there," she said. "And he was just like, 'You should really come to the studio,' so I went to the studio and just worked it out."
