Azealia Banks

"Liquorice" (video)

Azealia Banks premiered "Liquorice" way back in December, but considering the track was included on her recently released 1991 EP, the Rankin-directed clip for the dance mix-geared tune is still relatively timely.

While her upcoming Fantasea mixtape is taking on an underwater theme, the "Liquorice" video finds the rapper cruising some dusty, rustic locales. Yung Rapunzel and costumer Nicola Formichetti clearly had fun pillaging a Wild West tickle trunk, tossing together various ensembles featuring cowboy hats, leather chaps, tasseled vests and even some animal horns. Bonus points are being dished out for coordinating not only a stars and stripes jean outfit with the star-spangled banner, but a red white and blue popsicle.

Check out Banks dance to the trance-inducing, '90s-style club cut, featuring a sample of Lone's "Pineapple Crush," and get into a gun fight with herself in the video below.
