Old style NY hardcore is what this band is all about. This debut features 17 songs worth of it and they keep the metal bits to a minimum with a sound akin to Cause For Alarm and Warzone. This isn't particularly outstanding, but has a certain catchiness and should appeal to those who have a soft spot for '80s hardcore. The lyrical content runs along the bleak personal line with a lot of "me against the world" kind of stuff, like the opening line from "Complete Control," "Passing time as life goes by. Now you fucked me I don't know why." That pretty much sums it up.
