Avril Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger may have romantically split up a couple years ago, but the former married couple reunited in the name of art this past weekend.
Lavigne joined Nickelback onstage during their concert on Friday night (September 8) at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Appropriately enough, she came out to sing "Rockstar" with her ex-husband and his bandmates, ending her three-year hiatus from the stage.
In addition to Lavigne, the group also invited a random dude from the crowd to join in the fun, later sharing a photo of the moment on Twitter.
Hopefully now every time the random 'Back fan looks at this photograph, it will make him laugh (and wonder things like "How did our eyes get so red?" and "What the hell is on Joey's head?").
