Despite singer Katie Stelmanis getting attacked by a stingray a couple of weeks back, it's been a pretty stellar year for Toronto electro outfit Austra. The troupe's debut disc Feel It Break has received much acclaim, nabbing itself a spot on the Polaris Music Prize short list. They also just released a remix album and they've been on the road non-stop. It turns out the group will keep the show on the road a little while longer, as they have announced more Canadian tour dates.
The band will be kicking off this latest string of dates on the West Coast, with a gig lined up at Vancouver's Electric Owl on November 16. From there they will make their way east, eventually ending up in Waterloo, ON.
Accompanying Austra on the trip will be bare-bones neo-folk duo Tasseomancy, formerly known as Ghost Bees. Before the pair link up with Austra, however, they have a couple gigs of their own supporting their upcoming album Ulalume. You can see the schedule below.
