São Paulo-based electro-pop duo Audax recently dropped their debut LP Feel the Beat, and they're following it up with a couple of new takes on album cut "Ready to Explode." Exclaim! has got the exclusive premiere of a pair of remixes, courtesy of Rafael Yapudjian & Dubhead and Rafael Diefentaler.
The song was originally released as a single back in April and has now been treated to two reimagined renditions. First up, Rafael Yapudjian & Dubhead give it a bubbly, sweet-sounding, synth-fuelled makeover. That's followed by a slightly more bombastic, drum and bass-heavy interpretation from Rafael Diefentaler. And despite the reworkings, neither version ever loses the infectious melodies and dancefloor-ready feel of the original.
Blending nu-disco, indie and electronic dance music in to a tight set of 11 tracks, Feel the Beat is out now via Midas Music. Listen to the "Ready to Explode" remixes in the player below before they get officially released on November 3.
