Au4

"Planck Length" (video)

BY Matthew RitchiePublished Feb 3, 2014

Long-running electronic pop ensemble Au4 (which is made up of brothers Ben and Aaron Wylie) have been riding high ever since the release of their second studio LP, …And Down Goes the Sky, back in 2012. But while the analog-inspired four-piece haven't officially announced any new material, the group are tiding fans over until then by issuing another video, this time in the form of a clip for sophomore album cut "Planck Length."

Directed by band member Ben Wylie (who has previously provided visual effects work for movies like Jennifer's Body and The Butterfly Effect), the video finds a man suffering from epileptic hallucinations, waking up on a park bench only to discover a handful of chalk in his pocket. Upon witnessing the mathematic calculations in his head come to life before his eyes, he begins wandering aimlessly around town, getting all Good Will Hunting on any surface he can find.
