Attica Riots

"No Hands" on Exclaim! TV

BY Hannah ZieglerPublished May 12, 2016

Attica Riots have been busy this week playing a series of shows as part of Canadian Music Week, but Exclaim! TV is throwing it back with a new clip of the Winnipeg alt-rockers performing at the Drake Hotel in Toronto a few weeks ago.

Our previous Exclaim! TV clip of the band found them playing "Misery" in a performance that showed the band's palpable energy. This latest video, of their performance for "No Hands," is equally as infectious. The immediate pulsing drum beat leads the way to a song full of anticipatory lyrics such as "the clock's a'ticking" and "there's no place to hide" while band members echo lead singer Bobby Desjarlais' concerns, punctuated by bold guitar licks.

Desjarlais sings "nothing lasts forever" in the refrain, but you can watch the performance indefinitely here. If you like what you see, be sure to catch Attica Riots on tour with Bleeker this June.
