Last year, shapeshifting electronic producer Uwe Schmidt utilized his Atom moniker to deliver the fascinating and diverse Winterreise album. Thankfully, we won't have to wait much longer for a follow-up, as the artist has just announced that his next release will drop this spring.
The album is called HD, and offers up nine compositions, many of which were first started in 2005 for an album called Hard Disc Rock. As time went and the music evolved, Schmidt changed the name of the album to HD.
The release will include a guest appearance from Jamie Lidell, who provides vocals to one track, along with Alva Noto, Jorge Gonzalez and March Behrens.
Raster-Noton will issue HD on March 18. The tracklisting is available below.
