At the Drive-In

Reunion Show in Texas (live video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Apr 10, 2012

No doubt, post-punk fans have been anxiously awaiting the return of early 2000s heroes At the Drive-In since the act announced their reunion earlier this year. Last night (April 9), the Texas-bred band took the stage for the first time in over ten years at Austin's Red 7 venue, and by all accounts, the reformed outfit are back with a vengeance.

Down below you'll see newly performed versions of "One Armed Scissor," "Enfilade" and "Quarantined" that alternate between rafter-swinging, crowd-surfing and water-tossing mayhem, to fist-pump-approved alt-rock ballads, all anchored by quirky guitar leads and the vocal interplay between the nuts-in-a-vice-grip wails of frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala and the scratchy shouts of guitarist Jim Ward.
