Artists Busted for Trying to Manipulate Hype Machine's Charts
Oh, the things some people will do for money, or a bit of fleeting digitized fame. MP3 blog aggregator Hype Machine has discovered that several artists, or those involved with the artists, have been creating fake accounts and favoring their tracks in an attempt to get higher visibility on the website, and perhaps a place on the site's "popular" page.

But, as Hypebot.com reports [via The Daily Swarm], it didn't work out so well for the bands and the good folks at Hype Machine have not only nipped this problem in the bud but they've released a list of the guilty artists. And, of course, being the train-wreck lovers that we are, we cannot wait one second more to unveil said list. So, here it is.
