Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti Sign to 4AD, Line Up New Album for 2010
Pint-sized pop weirdo and lo-fi maverick Ariel Pink and his Haunted Graffiti are moving up in the world. Word has come that the band have themselves a new label home: the prestigious London-based imprint 4AD.

The move follows the recent 4AD signing of Norwegian shoegazers Serena Maneesh, and means Ariel Pink will soon be calling acts such as Mountain Goats, Camera Obscura and Scott Walker label-mates.

Of course, this also means Ariel Pink has a new album in the works, which is currently set for a spring 2010 release. Other than that, though, 4AD isn't giving us any more details. We can only hope the record will follow the path carved out by the blue-eyed '70s soul of this year's stellar "Can't Hear My Eyes."

Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti will embark on a UK tour next month. You can see those dates here.
