Dig out those earplugs, guys, because this is going to be a loud one. Bison B.C. leads this all-Vancouver show, which is beefed up by the mighty Congress and Baptists. We're guessing this is part of Bison's training for their upcoming shows with Helmet.

We were more than a little pumped to learn that the Victory Square Block Party is returning this year. So it makes since that we're also pretty excited about this fundraising show for the almost-annual event. B-Lines, Peace, Watermelon and the Radio Zero DJs will all fill the bill at this Astoria throw-down, which is guaranteed to get busy as hell.

This evening is the opening show for the 31st annual Calgary Folk Festival. Throughout the entire weekend a total of 64 bands will be coming together from 14 different countries to play in on seven outdoor stages to create musical magic. Kick-starting this folk-fest weekend will be Stars, Library Voices and Natacha Atlas.
