We're still waiting for Ariel Pink to properly announce his impending follow-up to his Haunted Graffiti project's 2010 outing Before Today, but it looks as if the weird-pop superstar will take his tunes out on the road for a handful of dates this September.
As Brooklyn Vegan points out, Pink has some late summer/early fall dates lined up around the U.S., but there is one Canadian gig in the mix as well. The lo-fi prince's lone show on our side of the border so far takes place September 27 at Vancouver's Rickshaw Theatre. L.A. boogie monster Dâm-Funk and Ferraro will act as openers in Vancouver, as well as during the other West Coast dates.

A recent interview with Spin had Pink admitting that he'll likely leave it to the "last possible minute" before he titles his next LP. The album is expected to arrive on 4AD by late August.
As previously reported, the artist explained that his next set is "[loosely] based on a childhood movie that I made with my cousins, basically a combination of Ghost and [The Adventures of] Ford Fairlane. It's like a rock'n'roll detective story. There's a rock star who dies onstage and his brother wants to get to the bottom of the caper."
