A lawsuit against Ariana Grande, claiming she appropriated artist Vladimir Kush's paintings in the "God Is a Woman" music video, has come to an end.
While few specifics have been revealed, the parties involved have reached a resolution, according to The Blast. Though further details of a settlement were not revealed, it is clear the plaintiff was not granted his original demand for the video to be removed from YouTube.
Las Vegas-based painter Kush originally filed the lawsuit against Grande earlier this year, accusing Grande's video of infringing on his paintings "The Candle" and "The Candle 2."
He also named director Dave Meyers and production company Freenjoy, Inc. as defendants in the case, and pointed out that Freenjoy had been accused of similar infringement claims for their work on Kendrick Lamar and SZA's "All the Stars" video.
