UK metalcore outfit Architects have announced that they'll follow last year's Daybreaker with a new LP in 2014. The as-yet-unnamed new album also marks a label switch for the group: while formerly inked to Century Media, Architects' next LP will be issued by New Damage Records in Canada, the venerable Epitaph imprint in the U.S., and through UNFD in Australia.
The announcement was made earlier today (October 18) on the group's Facebook page, where they confirmed that they're currently holed up at Gothenburg, Sweden's Studio Fredman recording the upcoming album. While an exact arrival time has yet to be revealed, Architects report that it should drop sometime in the spring.
As far as the music goes, details are slim, but the band note that thus far [sic] "Its sounding splendid - ya gonna love it."
Fans on this side of the pond may well get to hear some of the new material ahead of the album's release when Architects take off on a North American tour with Protest the Hero in November. The trip will hit up several Canadian stops, as evindenced by the tour schedule down below.
