Arcade Fire's Win Butler and Régine Chassagne Have a Baby Boy

One of Canadian music's most renowned couples just became parents, as Arcade Fire leaders Win Butler and Régine Chassagne reportedly welcomed a baby boy into the world this past Sunday (April 21).

As Arcade Fire Tube points out, this happy news comes from minister Barry Mack of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Saint-Lambert, QC. He revealed to Le Journal de Montréal that the baby was seven pounds at birth.

Chassagne's pregnancy was only revealed a couple of months ago, as the Montreal Gazette noted that she was "very pregnant" at a charity fundraiser in February. Fellow Arcade Fire member Marika Anthony-Shaw is also reportedly expecting.

Meanwhile, Arcade Fire have been working on the follow-up to 2010's revered The Suburbs. The last we heard, the band were recording at DFA Studio in New York.

Big thanks to Cam Lindsay for the tip.
