Arcade Fire's "Reflektor" Single Leaks, Features David Bowie on Vocals

After the artwork for Arcade Fire's new "Reflektor" single leaked this week, along with news of an Anton Corbjin-directed video, the song itself has now arrived early as well. While the track was supposed to arrive at 9 p.m. on September 9, it's now making its way around the web.

Earlier today (September 7), Pitchfork posted an alleged leak of the track via a Bandcamp link, but that was promptly removed, though not before who knows how many fans downloaded the track. Now you can stream/download the song over here, as well as via this Tumblr page (not to mention on countless other sites). Chances are, these active links won't last for long, so you may want to check the song out ASAP.

While this has undoubtedly put a major damper on Arcade Fire's "mystery" plans, there is a pretty cool little surprise on "Reflektor." The UK's Sun newspaper has reported that none other than David Bowie appears on the song, and that definitely seems to be the case. Just head to the 4:50 mark and hear for yourself.

UPDATE: Bowie has now confirmed that he is indeed on the single.

Of course, the legit version of the song and the video will still arrive on Monday, but if you're wanting to get in on the whole thing early, have at it.

As for Arcade Fire's new album proper, it's set to arrive October 29 via Merge.
