Not only do Arcade Fire have an album on the way this fall, they've also got a new soundtrack in the works, since the band have teamed up with their prior collaborator Spike Jonze to score his film Her.

While the details of AF's contribution is still unknown, a new trailer includes the credit "music by Arcade Fire." Watch that clip below.

"It's a movie set in the slight future of L.A. and Joaquin Phoenix's character buys the world's first artificially intelligent operating system," Jonze previously said of the movie [via The Playlist]. "It basically turns into a human, this entity, this consciousness, on his computer."

The film stars Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Chris Pratt, Olivia Wilde, and Rooney Mara, and features Scarlett Johansson in a speaking-only role. It's due out on November 20.

Jonze previously directed Arcade Fire's 2011 short film Scenes from Suburbs. The band also recorded a special version of "Wake Up" for his 2009 flick Where the Wild Things Are.
