Published Sep 08, 2017Earlier this year, Arcade Fire played the KANPE Kanaval at Le Métropolis in Montreal, with the charity event helping foster various programs in Haiti. Now the band are treating fans to a documentary capturing the event, as well as Régine Chassagne's trip to Haiti and her work with KANPE families in the country.
Simply titled Kanaval Kanpe Highlights 2017, the film "conveys the passion behind the music in addition to the heart behind the charity," according to a press release.

Chassagne co-founded KANPE in 2010, with its name translating to "stand up" in Creole. It helps support nutrition, health, housing, education, agriculture and leadership programs in Haiti.
Of course, Arcade Fire released their latest album Everything Now earlier this year.
