Arcade Fire Lead the Way at the Indies

Canadian Music Week kicked off on March 1 in Toronto with Canada’s leading independent music awards "The Indies,” which took place at the city’s worst venue, the Docks. Featuring a headlining performance by Stars, along with their guests, Norway’s Magnet, the winners were chosen by the general public through www.cmw.net. Arcade Fire took home two awards for Favourite Album and Favourite Video, Bedouin Soundclash received the honours of Favourite Single, City & Colour won Favourite Solo and Death From Above 1979 were chosen for Favourite Group/Duo.
