Arcade Fire Bobblehead Mask Stolen

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Mar 23, 2014

In case you haven't noticed, Arcade Fire have been sporting some big papier mâché bobblehead-styled masks these days. But while they have been a fixture at recent shows, that's all now in jeopardy due to one of the masks getting stolen.

Apparently, someone made off with Richard Reed Parry's mask at a show on Tuesday (March 18) in Bridgeport, CT. And as you could guess, the band want it back.

In a statement [via Brooklyn Vegan], here's what the band had to say:

Richy's bobblehead mask was taken from our show in Bridgeport, CT. This mask is a one of a kind piece that is an essential component to our live show. We have photos of the theft but rather than press charges we would prefer if the person who took it would get in touch with us to return it. Perhaps this is all an innocent mistake and you meant to leave the venue with your own oversized paper mache rendition of Richard Parry's head? Please contact: info@quest-management.com with any information.
