Though the details have yet to arrive in full, conceptual electronic artist Arca (a.k.a. Alejandro Ghersi) has announced his next LP. An ETA has yet to be established, but it's called Reverie.
Arca announced the project today (February 28) through his Instagram page, explaining that the record is "almost done." To tease the set, he presented a quick InstaVid of a flower, which came scored by a melding of feedback and softly sung tones.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Arca had been working on a new project with Hood By Air's Shayne Oliver, which they've called Wench. They introduced the project with the launch of their "Sick" single, and explained that an album is on the way. Oliver had described the duo's sound as comprising beats and "sexy chants."
Arca's most recent solo release was 2015's Mutant.
