Aphex Twin Is Erecting Billboards to Tease Us with Something

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Oct 8, 2020

Get ready for something new from Aphex Twin, as some big-time teasing is going on. How big? Well, his logo is starting to pop up on billboards across the globe.

So far, it's unclear what Richard D. James may have cooking, but images of the prominent Aphex Twin logo campaign are starting to now appear online. As Pitchfork points out, music equipment manufacturer Novation has posted an image of one billboard, stating that they are now in Los Angeles, Berlin, London, and Bristol.

Novation's post also says that more information is coming on October 20. Check out the post below.

Could this mean a new record is on the way? Or does it mean James has some sort of partnership in the works with Novation for some new music gear? After all, he did previously teamed up with the brand for the artist's AFX Mode for the Bass Station II.

At this point, we'll just have to wait and see.

Aphex Twin's last proper release came back in 2018 with the Collapse EP.
