Steel drums are likely the last thing you think of when it comes to Aphex Twin. Well, at least they used to be. Thanks to the members of the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati, we can now all hear what ol' Richard D. James sounds like with a steel drum makeover.
In the video below, the students take on Aphex Twin's classic I Care Because You Do track "Alberto Balsalm," and we have to say, the results are pretty darn sweet. Hear it for yourself below, and check out the original as well.
