A$AP Rocky Shoots Short Film with Danger Mouse, Skepta

While we recently saw A$AP Rocky make his big-screen debut in coming-of-age comedy Dope, it turns out that the rapper has been flexing his skills on both side of the camera. Though details are slim, Rocky has reportedly shot his own short film.

The movie news was revealed in an interview with the Guardian, which explained the many directions Rocky has been going in with his recently formed in-house creative team, AWGE. Apparently, this includes as-yet-untitled film helmed by the rapper. The film is said to star At.Long.Last.A$AP co-producer Danger Mouse, grime MCs Skepta and Novelist, various members of London's Piff Gang and Michèle Lamy.

A synopsis has yet to arrive, and it's unclear if the short film will make its debut anytime soon.

Regardless, it appears that in addition to being a rapper, producer, entrepreneur, model and actor, the multitalented Rocky has added "director" to an already impressive resume.

You'll find the trailer to filmmaker Rick Famuyiwa's Dope, in which Rocky plays drug dealer Dom, down below.
