Harlem rap sensation A$AP Rocky and his A$AP Mob have experienced a meteoric rise over the last couple of years, and their journey has been chronicled with a new documentary film. SVDDXNLY will arrive in the coming months.

Directed by David Laven, the Noisey-produced film has been in the works for some time now, with an initial trailer emerging last spring. Now, it's been confirmed that the flick is narrated by Rocky himself. A number of famous folks also make appearances, including Snoop Dogg, Rihanna, Wiz Khalifa, Macklemore, Kathy Griffin and Jeremy Scott.

SVDDXNLY gets its name from Rocky's song "Suddenly" from last year's Long.Live.A$AP album. Its score features a selection from the rapper's back catalogue, along with unreleased music from the upcoming instrumental album Beauty & the Beast: Slowed Down Sessions (Chapter 1). There's still no word as to exactly when that record will drop.

The doc has been officially confirmed to premiere during SXSW's film competent, which runs from March 7 to 15. The Texas festival's website offers the following synopsis: "SVDDXNLY features never-before-seen footage detailing the ascension of one of raps brightest young stars. From home videos and interviews with friends and family, to the very first seminal moments of his career caught on tape, Rocky takes viewers behind the scenes into his life as he takes A$AP from Harlem to the world."
