Published Feb 15, 2010After a heart-filled weekend, how can you resist a sequence of Exclaim! TV? As always, we have some episodes of Talk Show Night at Juicebox Manor and Garageland for your viewing needs.
Steve "Lips" Kudlow and Robb Reiner of Toronto metal outfit Anvil dropped by to share their opinion on the highly talked about documentary film, Anvil! The Story of Anvil. The guys also compared their appearance on The Tonight Show to being on Talk Show Night and the process that goes into writing an album. Plus, they even take part in a game of "What's More Metal: Canadian Edition."
We also payed a visit to Toronto's DJ school, Scratch Lab, where rockers Gymbo and Keith of Maximum RNR take in a lesson about the fine art of dropping beats. And in the Juicebox Manor basement, we have an electric performance from Cool Dad, where he plays his song, "C'mon In."
Lastly, Montreal punks Dig It Up are the focus of this week's episode of Garageland, and engage in a little conversation about what motivates them into hosting such aggressive live shows and share a few painful stories to paint the picture of their violent reputation.
