Known for fronting orchestral pop outfit Antony and the Johnsons, Antony Hegarty has unveiled a new solo track titled "Rise," along with an accompanying video.
The angelic-sounding song was written for Lynette Wallwort's documentary Coral Rekindling Venus. An Australian film about coral reefs, it's unsurprising that the visuals for "Rise" focus heavily on mesmerizing shots of underwater organisms.
As previously reported, Antony and the Johnsons are scheduled to release live collection Cut the World on August 7 via Secretly Canadian.
