Antony Hegarty (of Antony and the Johnsons) has designed a one of a kind dress that will be auctioned on eBay February 15. The silk kimono-like dress (pictured) was produced by YOOX, and will act as the launching pad for a series of future projects that will see the company work with other musicians.
The money from the dress will be used to help raise proceeds for the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, an American grassroots organisation that fights for gender individuality and expression rights.
In other news, according to his website, Antony has named his forthcoming third album, The Crying Light, and expects an autumn 2008 release. In the meantime, you can hear 2005's Mercury Prize winner sing vocals on "Blind," the first single by Hercules and Love Affair. Click here to listen.
