Antoni Maiovvi Preps 'Avrokosm' for Not Not Fun
Modern-day horror composer Antoni Maiovvi recently delivered his Death Waltz original The Hook and Pull Gang with Umberto, but he will be back on his own with a full-length release called Avrokosm. Not Not Fun will have the European soundscapist's next platter out December 9.

A press release for the six-song set explains that while previous releases primed giallo and disco sounds for the dancefloor, this latest collection "assumes an almost ethno-musicological perspective of a distant desert planet." This is apparently done via "pulsing, runic techno patterns," various loops and "cold tonal winds."

Maiovvi began working on the set in Berlin, but the recordings were completed in Madrid. Mastering was handled by Alek Stark at Norwich, UK's Fundamental Audio facility. Though samples from the set have yet to be unveiled, you'll find the tracklisting info down below and the futuristic cover art up above.

Also on the horizon for Maiovvi is an EP called Speculative Fiction, which will arrive sometime in December through AstroLab Recordings. Ahead of its official release, you can stream the EP down below.
