The Antlers Bring Burst Apart on the Road for North American Tour

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Mar 28, 2011

It wasn't that long ago that Brooklyn outfit the Antlers announced the release of Burst Apart, the follow-up to their critically acclaimed 2009 disc Hospice. Songwriter Peter Silberman described the disc as an "electronic, grooving record" and "energetic and, in its way, psychedelic," suggesting the new tunes would translate quite well in a live scenario. It looks as if we're going to find out just how right he was, as the band have announced an upcoming tour.

The group will be playing one gig in the UK on May 12, but the troupe returns to North America shortly thereafter, kicking off a series of live dates with Montreal's Little Scream in Washington, DC on May 17. Canadian dates will follow in Toronto and Montreal.

Check out the dates below.
