Annie Announces Richard X-produced EP 'A&R,' Unveils New Track with Little Boots

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 2, 2013

This spring, Annie returned with a new single, "Tube Stops and Lonely Hearts," and now the Norwegian electro-pop singer has announced plans to follow it up with a EP. A&R will be out on August 5 in Europe.

The EP was written and recorded with producer Richard X, who also co-wrote her hit "Chewing Gum," among other Annie songs.

Somewhat surprisingly, the aforementioned "Tube Stops and Lonely Hearts" doesn't factor in here. Instead, the EP features five new tracks, including the single "Back Together." It begins as a dreamy synth number before the beat takes over and turns it into a buoyant dance floor banger. The song was co-written with Little Boots and is streaming below the tracklist at the bottom of this page [via The Fader].

A&R:

1 Back Together

2 Hold On

3 Ralph Macchio

4 Invisible

5 Mixed Emotions
