British Columbia hip-hop crew Animal Nation recently wrapped up a Canadian tour with Madchild and Sage Francis, and are now ready to drop a brand new video for "The Scene." Exclaim! has got you exclusive first look at the clip.

Shot over two days in New York, the visuals capture the Red Hook district of Brooklyn three years after it was ravaged by Hurricane Sandy. The video was directed by Pat Armitage — the brother of Animal Nation's Mike "Armadillo Slim" Armitage.

"We were going to wait until the new year to put this video out, but when we got home Snak and Madchild were feuding, and both putting out video after video within 24 hours of each other," the duo's other member Garnet "Tall Man" Clare said in a statement. "I figured it shouldn't take us three months to make one video, so I stayed up overnight relearning Premier and put this together in a LONG-ass day."

Tall Man continued, "The tour was amazing, and it was great to be able to sneak in this shoot in New YorkI like that's it's not your typical NYC video that you've seen a million times before."
