In case you haven't noticed, we've been chatting up Animal Collective's "visual record" ODDSAC for months. In March, we were giddy with excitement after the announcement was made that the film would be getting a DVD release on June 29. Sadly, our bubble has been burst with the news that the release date has been pushed back by a month.
According to an email from the band's publicist, ODDSAC has been the new release date of July 27. While no reason was given for the delay, it was mentioned that a number of new screening dates are in the works. Canada was ignored in the last batch of dates, so hopefully we get some love this time around.
