Animal Collective's Deakin Comes to Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver on North American Tour, Gets Prince Rama to Open
With his buddies Avey Tare and Panda Bear keeping busy with their solo projects, founding Animal Collective member Deakin (born Josh Dibb) is making many plans as a solo artist. Following a small bout of solo shows, he has announced a full North American tour.

Come September, Deakin will embark upon his first headlining tour of North America. The trek will bring him all over the continent, including Canadian stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. All of the tour dates will include support from recent Paw Tracks signees Prince Rama. Deakin helped produce their album, so don't rule out the possibility of a live collaboration.

While he hasn't revealed his solo album yet, we won't be surprised if Deakin has an announcement around the corner. Meanwhile, Panda Bear's Tomboy will be out this September and Avey Tare's Down There will be out on October 26.
