Animal Collective Ring In Summer with New Single

Animal Collective Ring In Summer with New Single
With T-shirt season right around the corner, Animal Collective have taken the opportunity to name "Summertime Clothes" as the next single from their massively praised Merriweather Post Pavilion album. Via Domino, the single and its accompanying remixes will come as a 12-inch and digital single on July 7 in North America, with the UK getting it a tad earlier on June 29.

Along with the original album version of "Summertime Clothes," the release will feature redoes by dubstepper/Exclaim! fav Zomby, Stones Throw's Dam-Funk and London producer L.D. A music vid is also in the pipeline for "Summertime Clothes," with longtime AC bud/cinematic collaborator Danny Perez directing. The video is also to feature the same troupe of avant dancers that recently appeared alongside the band on Letterman last week, and that picture above will serve as the single's album art.

Here's the tracklisting:

A1 "Summertime Clothes" (Album Version)
A2 "Summertime Clothes" (Dam-Funk Remix)
B1 "Summertime Clothes" (Leon Day AKA L.D Remix)
B2 "Summertime Clothes" (Zomby's Analog Lego Mix)
