Following the release of this year's Time Skiffs, Animal Collective have announced a North American tour with several Canadian stops mapped out along the way.

The trek opens at Vancouver's Vogue Theatre on August 13, and includes performances in Edmonton and Calgary on August 16 and 17, respectively. After a brief run of shows stateside, the band will make their way back north to Toronto's Danforth Music Hall on September 2, before closing out the tour at the Festival de Musique Émergente in Rouyn-Noranda, QC, on September 3 and Montreal's Corona Theatre on September 4.
Panda Bear, Avey Tare, Geologist and Deakin will take a short break after the North American leg, pausing until November, when they'll embark on a European trek.
Tickets for the newly scheduled tour dates go on sale Friday, May 20, at 10 a.m. local time here.
